ROYAL SCHOOL ARMAGH BADGE BNI

The Royal School Armagh

Co-educational

The Royal School Armagh was founded in 1608 by King James I  and granted its Royal Charter by King Charles I in 1627. The school has a total  enrolment of 735 pupils and has a close knit boarding community of approximately 90 boarders. The school provides a vibrant and welcoming environment where children are safe and happy and have outstanding opportunities to develop in a structured setting, learning to live and work with others of similar ages. The holistic curriculum allows students to be the best they can be academically as well as offering a wide range of transformational opportunities into which pupils are impelled.

Our boarding community work together to provide a real home from home with emotional security and support for children through their adolescent years. Every effort is made to ensure that boarding pupils acquire productive and effective study habits and participate in the wide range of opportunities available to them. The exceptional roundedness of our student leavers is not lost on university admissions teams. Our students move on to the best universities in the UK and internationally.

My 7 years as a boarder have been amazing – so much so that I don’t want to leave .
